The Kayserburg Étoile Collection features meticulously handcrafted, ethically harvested, and sustainable genuine veneers. Named after the French word for ‘star’ (pronounced eiˈtwal), this collection represents the pinnacle of veneer craftsmanship. From the more than 90,000 hardwood species worldwide, only about 100 are used in the fancy veneer industry. For the Kayserburg Étoile Collection, only the most impactful woods have been chosen.
The Kayserburg Étoile Collection boasts a captivating selection of exotic veneers. Among them are Sapele Mahogany, a luxurious wood sourced from western and central African trees that can reach towering heights of up to 180 feet. Another standout is Golden Silk Phoebe, a historically prized material used in boat building, architectural woodworking, furniture, and intricate sculptural carving. Additionally, the collection showcases Tiger Striped Sandalwood, Straight Line Ebony, Green Apple, and Rose Gold Sandalwood.
